Why should I use a coach?
Coaching is about helping you achieve higher performance. It’s the fine-tuning that makes all the difference, and that’s where a coach focuses.
I can help you improve your skills and performance on a one-to-one basis. This is different from reading books or attending seminars, because the focus is on YOU. We will work together to help you ‘sharpen the tools’ you already have, and learn to use new ones if necessary.
As your real estate coach, I’m also a sounding-board for new ideas and initiatives. By discussing these, we may be able to make refinements that will give you greater likelihood of success.
What areas do you coach in?
Do you have concerns or problems with any of the following?
I can help you to develop skills and confidence in these and many other areas.
Do you teach REA Continuing Education?
YES! I present REA Verifiable Continuing Education, by way of interactive workshops (seminars) at venues throughout New Zealand. I also offer Non-Verifiable Continuing Education.
My primary value proposition is that you will leave my presentations satisfied that you have learned something of value, and enjoyed the time spent.

How do I get started in real estate?
To enter the real estate profession in New Zealand, you require the National Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) (Level 4) qualification. I recommend studying through the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand:
Once you’ve completed the qualification, you can apply for your Real Estate (Salesperson’s) Licence, through the Real Estate Agents Authority (REA). The REA has published a handy booklet about how to apply for a Salesperson’s Licence:
Once your licence has been issued, you’re eligible to work for a real estate agency. If you want to establish your own agency, there are further education and industry service requirements that need to be met. You’ll find details of these in the Real Estate Agents Act 2008:
